With much of the UK experiencing some lovely weather over the last few days, many people have headed out in their gardens to either sit and enjoy the sunshine or to continue with their gardening hobby.
Many of us think that as the nights draw in and the temperature starts to drop, that we can no longer enjoy our garden, but this doesn’t have to be the case. Often during the winter months, our gardens get very little attention. You may be lucky to get a cut in during the month of October and then not bring your lawn mower out again until the following spring.
Whilst we have this nice weather hanging around, it is a good time to finish off any projects that you had planned that you may not be able to do so easily when winter sets in. the growth of the lawns will start to slow down soon and weeded flower beds wont need much upkeep through the colder months. You may even decide to hire a professional gardener just to give the gardens a once over before winter as this may well be enough to see you through until next year. If you enjoy gardening there is no reason why you cannot continue well in to the winter months.
